Poolside Service is a photograph of a Palm Springs estate in full swing — a white-suited butler, sunbathers by the water, palm trees against a clear sky. On matte paper, the warm tones stay true: cream stucco, turquoise pool, golden afternoon light.
Matte paper removes the glare that gloss introduces. Under gallery lighting, natural light, or a desk lamp — the image stays readable. No reflections competing with the photograph.
